NIFT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

- For B.Des: Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board, or its equivalent, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the minimum aggregate marks required are usually 45%.
- For B.FTech: Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination from a recognized board, or its equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the minimum aggregate marks required are usually 45%.

NIFT Admit Card
The NIFT admit card is an important document that you must carry with you to the exam center. It will contain your name, roll number, exam date and time, and the venue of your exam center. You will need to download the admit card from the NIFT website using your login credentials.

- Click on the “Admit Card” link.
- Enter your email address and password.
- Click on the “Submit” button.
- Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.
- Download and save the admit card.
NIFT Result
Declaration:
- The National Testing Agency (NTA) declares NIFT results online on the official NIFT website: https://www.nift.ac.in/.
- The results are typically announced in the second week of March for the January entrance exam.
Checking Your Results:
- Use your email ID and password to access your results on the official website.
Information in NIFT Results:
- Sectional and Overall Marks: Your performance in each section of the exam (General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT)) and your overall score will be displayed.
- Merit Rank: Your rank among all test-takers will be provided, indicating your relative standing.
- Qualifying Status: You will be notified if you’ve qualified for the next stage (Situation Test/Interview) based on your score and the program’s cut-off marks.
